As a follow up to last month's very successful tree brigade kickoff, we will be aerating and mulching trees along Columbia St. from Degraw down to Hamilton this Saturday. Kids are more than welcome to help, and its a great opportunity to meet people, learn about local environmental issues, and beautify the neighborhood.
There will also be a team of volunteers doing some cleaning and planting along the greenway.
Volunteers should meet across from 145 Columbia Street at 9:45 am. There will be a post here in the case that the event gets canceled due to inclement weather.
