Glad I found your blog. We were visiting last week and wanted to check out the neighborhood. Our bad luck - our first attempt was the Monday it rained so hard. We went to Ferdinando's for lunch, but couldn't explore further due to the rain. Then we'd planned to come back on Saturday, but got waylaid by the closures on the G train.

I'm glad I found your blog to explore the neighborhood & nearby Red Hook/Gowanus by proxy! Thanks!
