RED HOOK CLEAN ME 2

A message from Red Hook Economic Development (RHED):

SATURDAY MAY 21 FROM 9-12

Hello Red Hook,

RED HOOK: CLEAN ME 2

With winter finally over it's now time to tackle the debris spoiling our neighborhood sidewalks and green spaces. Join friends and neighbors to help further local undertakings to beautify our community. The morning's efforts will focus on picking up the debris that has built up along Van Brunt Street over the winter months. However, we enthuesiasticaly encourage any and all cleanup efforts throughout Red Hook.

RHED with the assistance of SBIDC will be holding the Spring Clean Me 2 this Saturday, May 21st, from 9 to 12. Drop by any time - even an hour or two of volunteering can make a big difference.

Gloves, trash bags, and cleaning materials will be provided by Parks Department. But if you have your own gloves, or other tools, feel free to bring them. You can sign in and pick up supplies in front of the SBIDC offices at 402 Van Brunt Street near the corner of Coffey Street.

Fairway will be generously sponsoring us with bagels and ground coffee(anyone want to donate Mr Coffee makers so we can actually drink it?)and will also be involved in the clean up efforts by removing the plastic bags from the trees around Fairway Markets in Red Hook. Bravo Fairway!

Thanks in advance to everyone who comes out for helping to make Red Hook a better place to live, work, and visit.

In June, RHED's neighborhood beautification efforts will focus on care of street trees and tree pits. Stay tuned...

Looking forward to seeing you out there!

Sincerely,

Red Hook Economic Development
